June's revolutionary terrain park development brings freeriding all over the mountain for different ability levels. The parks and pipes are groomed nightly, and terrain features are reinvented and reshaped all season long by JM2's expert staff.
Mambo: start off here for an introduction to terrain parks, located on this gentle slope beneath chair J2. Sunrise: work up to more challenging terrain features at this location. Gunsmoke: the biggest terrain formations reside here, accessible from the top of chairs J6 and J4. Superpipe: the perfectly sculpted pipe that is making June Mountain famous is found on Chalet. Jib Parks: two jib parks grace the mountain, one atop June's summit on Sunrise Ridge, the other on Mambo, near the Superpipe.

Sitting high atop Donner Summit, huge snowfall and deep fresh powder is served every year up at “the Bowl” but just in case the snow comes a little late, twenty five percent of the mountain is covered by snowmaking equipment including the fully automated system developed by the YORK Neige Company of France. This new design automatically adjusts to changing weather conditions to enable Sugar Bowl to make the most snow, when conditions permit. Sugar Bowl has also installed a system that super cools the water to make higher quality snow in warmer conditions.
