Class AAAA  -  Membership of 325+

Class A        -  Membership of 10-149


I. Content - (25 points maximum)
Content addresses the information provided on the site.

Home page: Title, what is the page about? Navigation process
About the Page: posting copyrights, legal notices, citation, privacy policies
Information to indicate your identity
Page links: Useful and meaningful
Including other club and council related information such as meeting notices, events page,
contact page, club/council history, etc
II. Structure and Navigation - (15 points maximum)
Structure and navigation refers to the organization of information on the site and the method
utilized to move through sections.
Things to consider:
How information is provided
Where to find things, What to expect in the website
Navigate easily, Offers easy access to site's breadth and depth
III. Visual Design - (25 points maximum)
Visual design is the site appearance. Is it of high quality, appropriate and relevant for the audience
and supporting message.
Things to consider:
High quality, legible text
Eye appealing color scheme
Layout consistent and pleasing
IV. Functionality - (25 points maximum)
Functionality is the use of technology on the site. Good functionality is technology you can not
see that allows information to be found easily and action performed smoothly.
Things to consider:
Loads quickly
Images display correctly
Links are live
Site works across-platforms and is browser independent
V. Interactivity and Experience - (10 points maximum)
Interactivity and Experience is the way the site allows the user to do something and how the
reader feels about the site visitation experience.
Things to Consider:
What is the input/output expectation?
Page usefulness for club members and new inquiries
Willingness to spend more than 55 seconds at the site (average time people visit a site)
Use of things such as: hyperlinks, roll-over buttons, inquiry forms, online chat
rooms, list server, searches, e-commerce, etc. to enhance, not distract from, site
usage/navigation
Links: (For Clubs, include Council link; for Councils, include Clubs link), and links to Far
West Ski Association and Far West Racing Association Web Site (highly encouraged)
